Summer Camp Scholarships
Scholarship Program
We understand that these economic times have been difficult, especially for those in the church trying to minister to students. We are trying to help youth programs get their students to camp by offering a limited number of partial camp scholarships. These scholarships are provided by donors that care deeply about seeing teenagers follow Christ. Over $20,000 was given for students to attend AreaOne in 2009. The 2010 scholarships are based on the generosity of funders, so right now we are offering a waiting list should these scholarships be offered. AreaOne Camps 2010
Our Heart: AREA1:camps are focused on creating an atmosphere of challenging teaching and passionate worship that inspires, trains and mobilizes teenagers to live out a biblical perspective in every aspect of their lives. We take all of the planning and logistics off your plate so you and your youth team can focus all your efforts on ministering to your students. Two camps, AREA1:ozarks in Lake of the Ozarks, MO and AREA1:emeraldcoast in Destin, Florida are designed to serve as catalyst events for church youth programs.
2010 Options: The 2010 camps feature options to help your group spiritually develop faster. Sometimes your students need Organized Recreation or a Missions Experience to share their faith and get their hands dirty. Depending on the makeup of your group, you might want to "Choose Your Own Adventure" and make your own plans.
Intentional Programing: Both camps feature a concert with the award winning band Kutless. Also, at both camps students will experience powerful worship with some of the nations top bands. REVIVE will lead worship for AREA1:ozarks and AREA1:emeraldcoast. Past worship bands have included Todd Agnew, Leeland and Rush of Fools. International speaker and author Brian Housman and youth communicator Kiley Butler will challenge your students. c.Groups, or small groups, are designed as a safe environment for students to share and pray with one another. Missions projects, organized recreation, waterfront activities, beaches, cave tours, swimming, fishing, ropes course, jet skis, ski boats, water jumps... there's so much to do at AreaOne.
